How I file the library after install
I pin three folders: drums, bass one-shots, vocals. Serum presets stay in a separate browser column. FX only opens after I already have a drop idea. That habit cut a lot of wasted browsing time. For the synth used by the preset banks, check Serum 2 at Xfer Records.
Pro tip from my sessions
I recommend bouncing a 16-bar loop with only Dubnation drums and one Serum bass before adding melodic ear candy. If the dry loop is boring, change the groove before you stack more sounds.
