The Tape Series Vol. 1 features 24 dedicated MPC Kits, including over 450 samples mixed with vinyl noise, live-sampled instruments, real drums, brass, classic Rhodes, vintage synths, and snares. Each drum hit and melodic sample has been carefully processed through high-end outboard gear such as SSL, Neve, and API before being transferred to Ampex 2-inch tape to deliver punch and saturation.
Moreover, The Tape Series is the first to utilize the Air Flavor/Flavor Pro plugin to elevate the sound across the entire expansion. This plugin has been used to carefully craft a master chain on each program, providing beat makers with an inside look at MSXII’s process to learn from.
